I Fall Through Poem by Khloe Chace

I Fall Through

Fill my heart with your understanding.
The color of walls has disappeared.
The roof flew off, I failed to blast off.
The water keeps coming closer...

The flowers and the fields, that once colored my soul.
Set fire by the furnace stretched over my skin.
I used to grin at the stars,
But now they're looking down on me.

Pre-Chorus:
Falling forever, where do I end?
What is life, when the desire is death?
My scars broke the surface,
My burning eyes now jump.
The tears' final stream.
When everything stands with life,
I. fall. through.

Chorus:
The metal makes me feel once again.
Houses filled with smiles,
No one beside me on this out on this edge.
When the last night falls into darkness
The rains falls, the tears fall
And then. I'm. gone.

I remember people, but never a glance.
I remember how my first love was taken
I remember when my heart began braeking,
I'll remember today, when I finally broke.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I have depression really bad and the only person I've ever been happy with in my life is no longer with me and I broke. I wrote this at school and tears were streaming down my face during the lecture. I don't know what's worse: people looking at you while you're crying, or having people look at you and not even notice.

I hate life and I thought that I could see something good in everything. But I can't. Not here and not now. Life is pointless and ridiculous and I am sad. Not sad, horrifyingly depressed
