While the helplessness is expressed in a wonderful and creative way, I can read between the lines the longing to intervene. In the repeat of of undone, I read the will and deep longing to do something about it. There are indeed so many things we cannot do anything about, but still the sometimes very small things that we do not leave undone are the ones that make a huge difference in this world. Excellent, thought provoking poem.

Disparate scenes of destruction and hopelessness! Here I sense the frustration and indignation of one who sees unfortunate incidents happening all around him! But nothing is within his control! He feels so helpless to change the rotten state and falls into a kind of emotional lethargy!
