I Dwell Eternally Within Poem by Mystic Qalandar

I Dwell Eternally Within

I dwell eternally within—
that ageless chamber
where memory rests
beside my Beloved,
the Eternal Companion,
my Origin, the Primal Light,
the Final Sun.

In the soul's hidden sanctuary,
the primordial covenant still breathes:
Alastu bi-Rabbikum? —
"Am I not your Lord? "
The first question, uttered before time,
before these feet of dust learned
the long and wandering roads of earth.

Within this fragile vessel of clay,
a thousand bittersweet
moments have spun—
veils woven from
shadow, passion, and grace.
And when night descended
with its crushing weight,
His gaze alchemized
the darkness into dawn,
and suffering opened
with the jasmine-scent of love.

The turning came when I whispered
my will into the void:
this hollow shell surrendered
to the One—
my sovereign Lord,
from whom all dominion flows.
No longer mine to claim or guard,
I dissolved into His mystery.

There, unveiled, I saw
my will was never mine at all—
only a flicker of His eternal flame,
a single wave within the Ocean's sway.

To yield is not to perish,
but to awaken.
The self becomes
a polished mirror for the One;
each breath a secret shared,
each heartbeat the pulse of a Divine Will
moving through all things.

In surrender, I discovered eternity—
not a loss, but the soul's true birth.
I have become the Beloved's lamp,
the pure wine of His light
poured into the waiting cup
of my being.
