I didn't know that you love me

how'd I know that you cared?
from the moment I saw you
stars alligned
hearts and hopes
I dared

I didn't know that you'd love me
you gave no indication
as I peacocked around you
a fierce wind shaped your heart
with my feathers

I didn't know that you'd love me
until your embrace surrounded my being
with love's dawning of a new horizon
a fullness of desires bursting
melodies and flames
oh to love the divine unity

I didn't know that you love me
I didn't know either

then I saw you in my nights
glimmers of my heart's delights
your face shown filling my room
dancing images above my home made 'orb'
played silouettes of midnight blues


you didn't know?
I didn't either


the sunlight touching my curly dark hair
and in it's rays I felt you there
you're on my skin
and hidden in my breast
you speak in complete whispers
steadily
flickering the pilot of my soul
