I Did Not Want To Leave You Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Did Not Want To Leave You

I did not want to walk away
I did not want to leave you
On the contrary, I wanted to hug you
Before leaving.

I did not want to flee from you
I did not want to abandon you
Even though you pushed me away
Before leaving.

I wanted to be with you until the end of spring
I wanted to sleep with you, even though I was starving
Before leaving.

I wanted to pray, admire your big eyes
And kiss your gorgeous smiles
Before leaving.
