Beautiful love poem well articulated and nicely brought forth from the heart. Lovely and very passionate. Thanks for sharing.
If I could fly beyond the earth's blue sky From star to star I’d step, gazing from on high For views of you.. desire expressed so wonderfully well.. thank u dear poetess. tony
I read some of your poems and this is my favorite so far, keep writing, will look forward to reading more from you. Thanks for sharing.
I just noticed something: the unique rhyme scheme. O this earns a '10' from me, please.
ok! as i said two years ago, .......this is GREAT! ! ! ! ! it is going into my/our June 2017 showcase. the other female poets...and some male ones also.........will/should love it! thanks. bri :)
If I could walk backwards into the night Down dark and winding roads of pale moonlight I’d search for you- - - - - - - - A very lovely poem yearning for some one you love.Enjoyed reading.
Optimistic, feminine, and spiffy. Something is charming me here, and I keep coming back to suckle.
Excellent work. So romantic poem. I love it. Thank you so much dearest poet Beach Girl.
WOW! not only did i find one i hadn't commented on, but i found this FANTASTIC POEM. the only thing 'wrong' with it is that it's a 'love poem'. ugh! ! but such a wonderfully written one that it zooooomss to MyPoemList. I love the flow, the relatively short third lines AND that they each end in “you”. (of course you ARE referring to ME, but we needn’t tell everyone!) I do worry about a person walking BACKWARDS into the night; isn’t that just ASKING for a fall? ? the idea of turning back time by spinning “the earth back round the sun” is, to me, unique and fun. very clever. no typos, good rhyming; it has it all. too bad you had to mention “love”. ugh! and I think I’ll share it with at least one PH friend. and it would make a great addition to one of my PH showcases. think about it. bri :)
That we would endlessly circle back to the place of perfect love....Such a simplistic approach that spoke volumes....exquisitely written. Applause and PEACE...
in fact the poem is beautiful, it forced me to comment (i am affected) and to vote for it
Yeah! Tears and joy, all wrapped is this delighter! Keep them coming!
The beach for me like the sea. Warm waves that clean your feet. Pulled back in, washed up again there along the shore...iip
It's a sweet, romantic poem, particularly the last stanza. Really beautiful!
Thank you Dr. Dike, I appreciate your kind words.
