I'd like someone to hold me
When I'm feeling down
Someone I can depend on
To always be around

I'd like someone to comfort me
In my times of pain
Someone who can talk with me
To help me feel good again

I'd like someone to love me
To keep me warm and safe
Underneath the covers
Is a warm loving place

I'd like someone who'll pray with me
When I'm talking with the Lord
He needs to know I need him
That, He's not ignored

So if you can share with me
All these things I ask
I promise this to you
It will not be too great of a task
