Hi Passionate Flower - a lovely Name and a lovely Poem! First let me commend you on the structure. Two well balanced sextets with a consistent AA - BB - CC rhyming pattern sandwhiching an octet again composed of rhyming couplets. Your choice of English is also excellent. The subject matter makes this a very compassionate and elegant poem. When we lose the 'Love of our Life', even transiently, Sorrow (and other passions) try to comfort us but all we really need it to be left to cry out our own sorrow - and hope and pray the the parting is transient. There is a big emotional gulf between the opening and the ultimate line. Sorrow laid by me all nights long........... - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Because I will do my best to get back its cure! Well done please post some more we love your poetry!

this was really moving. how the speaker could not forget her ex love and how she knows her current lover is trying his best to help her but to no avail. truly touching. good job there.
