I Consumer Hallelujah! Poem by DM W

I Consumer Hallelujah!

I consumer hallelujah!
Bulbous gleaming golden arches:
Pseudo Buddhists pray for Porsches.
I consumer hallelujah!

I consumer hallelujah!
Shopping is the new religion.
O I - me - mine: that's the mantra.
I consumer hallelujah!

I consumer hallelujah!
I adore the sweet elixir
Of Fanta & Pepsi cola.
I consumer hallelujah!

I consumer hallelujah!
O I'm up to my neck in debt,
But I must spend more; what the heck!
I consumer hallelujah!

I Consumer Hallelujah!
