I comply with my own desires.
I speak the language of fire when a woman
I desire.
I sleep with cats and dogs to please the watchful gods.
I ride horses of dreams in my quest for the love supreme.
I keep silent in defiance of inside violence
That wakes the demons
Of me.
I cry floods when invoking the gods
To pour down peace
On the restless minds
Of tortured mankind.
Like all men my wish is to vanquish
My fears.
I dread
The moment
I'm declared
Dead.
I stand in the face of Grace
In a state of nakedness
Of body and soul
And hope it will efface
Madness, sadness
And all evil thoughts
From my distraught
Self.
