This is a sweet lamenting romantic poem about a love who has passed. The physical memories are precious. Congrats on Poem of the Day. Peace.
Thanks Jette Blackstone for reading my poem and for the congrats.
a poem of not only of love lost but also of never forgetting the loving memories of that love? ...........beautifully written Ronald
A lady love living in heaven can't be seen nearby by means except in dreams only to wake up with weepings! A great love of a lady who has passed away is nicely written by the poet here!
where true love is established it overcome time not only that if one is gone by nature or betrayal for ever another one it remains for ever, I think your poem echoes it...not only that this type memory is so dazzling that it seems it is just the incident of yesterday and then the power of it is felt..../anyway yours is a poem from deepest corner of heart....a purely subjective lyric......congratulations for poem of the day.
B.m. Biswas... Thank you for the amazing comment. I enjoyed reading it very much.
A beautiful poem worthy to be poet of the day, I too have been there five years ago, I've just come out of that long tunnel.

LAST PART Poems can soften pains and heal wounds (cited from my poem book Emeralds Green by Xlibris-UK May 2015) I like your poem a very lot, Ronald, God's Blessings be in Abundance. Sincerely, Sylvia Frances Chan
Thank you... Sylvia Frances Cha.n May God bless you always and forever.
Having lost true love, awaking in an empty bed and the hurtings so true, must be very awdul to dear Poet Ronald. I do hope poems soften the pains, especially like this one. I have great respect for the poet for transposing his emotions in this ardent poem about a very precious loved one, but this beloved died too soonest.
Dear Poet Sylvia Frances Chan... it's very sad to lose your one true love that you knew since childhood. I leaned witting poetry does soften the pain a little. Thank you.
A heart-wrenching poem, most beautifully worded. The poet is a true romanticus, but misses really his beloved partner as he is used to sleep under the same blanket. Unchangeable it seemed, deepest sadness and mournings we can read in this lloveliest poem ever read by me ever written by a man, very romantic. A TEN and much much more for the Voting. CONGRATULATIONS for The Poem of The Day, Ronald.
Thank you..Sylvia Frances Chan for the beautiful and kind words and the TEN.
