Hey! I can't breathe officer!
That's not the weight of thy knees;
The weight of pride and arrogance
The load of white on coloured skin

Such Beauty of A poem, this is very touching the readers's heart and of course mine too.5 Stars Full
Really a poignant bit of verse written in persuasive poetic expressions with conviction. Insightful utterances set aside for honest reflection. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
Heartiest congratulations on your poem being selected as the 'Member Poem of the Day'!
A reminder to the pathetic incident of the recent past! May kindness and compassion be the constant companion of our frail conscience, to get it back to track whenever it tends to err!
3) I don't think so. You know better Dr. Sachi. This killing has a deeper background, Sir. But you created an impressive poem. That still IS. Sincerely yours from The Netherlands, Sylvia FC
2) Both had the same job at a nightclub. Both men knew each other. So stupid if the white did not know his own " colleague" . I cite your lines: Fasten the knots of sane humanity Tell me please! What's wrong with me? .................NOTHING wrong, the system is WRONG, Both men have the SAME JESUS, it lies in the not correctness of their system. Can a government function IF the leader is a stupid one?
Congratulations Dr. Sachidananda Sir for being chosen as The Member Poem Of The Day. A truly impressive poem upon the death of late Floyd. This occurrence needed not to excell IF the average american citizen had not been given the ability to have/buy a gun/weapon, in this case this death was not by a weapon, but by foot of an american officer. In Reality it was betwixt black and white. The killer was a white american policeman.
Screaming voice! ! ! Who is ready to hear? ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Very well scripted Sir.....thank u for sharing....10+++
Loosen the belt of primacy white Fasten the knots of sane humanity Tell me please! What's wrong with me? Hey officer...! Don't you hear? I can't breathe...! Terrible death of Floyd when can america heal itself from such racism. the first reaction of trump was " those thugs? ? ? we all stand with the police.
I'm going to check out the Poetry on the S&M Advanced Practitioners writing forum. The writing over there is not as Evil or Inverted, and it contains honesty, courage, and feeling.. Scapegoating is simply projecting one's own shadow onto the smallest hook available on the scapegoat. Unfortunately for these two men that white man will pay for your shadow and the Black mans death has nothing but shame attached to it now. Your shame alleged Poet.
Very profound. And very worthy of POD. Congratulations, Dr. Panda.
O yes I can't breathe tough I don't wear mask I can't breathe Though I am not the patient of asthma I can't breathe Though I don't live in unhygienic gas farm I can't breathe Though I am not in the full of CFC I can't breathe Though I am not confined in the bottom of dark grave I can't breathe Yes, I can't breathe Because in this world Human bears up racism Human tolerates discrimination in religions Human loves the aristocracy, the deaths of poor......
