Those days were like magic,
I had nothing to fear.
You would fill my head
with the words I needed to hear.

Such memories we had,
how I can never let that go.
You are my dream come true
I hope one day you will know.

I look around
at this empty place,
I would give anything
for just another glimpse at your face.

You were gone so fast,
but I still hear your voice.
You are my one and only,
you are the perfect choice.

The past is a reminder
of a love so true.
I believe in yesterday,
because I still had you.
