I Barter Love With Your Pains

I Barter Love with Your Pains
02/12/2023

My love, come to me slowly, take me to you with silent rhythm
I intend to touch the fabric of love
It lies beyond this bustle where hearing requires calm
I desire to bathe in love there in its tranquil realm

I am awaiting you and will be so forever
Come when you are done with the world
With me you do not have to say a word
I will soothe your fatigue with balmy symphony of my heart

Maybe I won't say a word too
I won't make a noise to stir your poise
Only my being by you will nurse your wounds
I will listen to your silence in earnestness

Divulge your untold agonies to me, my friend
I will lift you up, float you in lightness
Beyond this thumping business of life
I will take you to the fairy land

Shift all your pains for I will barter love
In exchange of your turmoil, give me a piece of your soul
There I aspire to build a little hut for us
I will lay you there with childlike care

We will be there as we were before we came here
We will know nothing for unknowing enlivens love forever
