Beautifully developed and narrated. Moon is put on the spot by pointed interrogation. At some point moon will reveal some secret that is not known. Great poem. Thank you.
Talking to the moon or any natural object is a very poetic gesture, there might be many reasons for this, like, imaginative impulse, apostrophizing impulse that leads to invite the cold world object to chat like this, loneliness in the human society, not escapism but an attempt to escape, or to see them as a manifestation of the Divine creation, to become all praise for the CREATOR who created such flawless universe....the mystic approach in which they dont talk to God directly rather they go to Creator by the channel of His creation...very lively conversation though the moon is mostly silent except the cute smile...and one more thing, you gave the male gender to the moon, perhaps in our side of the world moon is male gender as in our language Chaan nikalta he, nikalti nhi he, but if we go to Keats, he says: ...goddess moon is on her throne clustered around by all her starry fays... the nightingale ode...the poem is a decorated piece of imagination!
What an intellectual write, yet full of intense emotions. only poets can talk to moon, since they know each others language. Thanks for decoding your conversation and for sharing it your fellow poets. Great 10++ from my side.
