I Ask Myself Why Comments

I keep coming back to this poem - it's a great opening line, plus great last verse. My only critism is I feel more could be written, nore of the story told though I appreciate as it clearly based on a true life experience that writing more may not prove easy?

This is a very powerful poem now Lesley, obviously the incident affected you greatly and you have now expressed this very deeply.
