I Am The God-Spirit, Known To God In Entirety Poem by Mohammad Younus

I Am The God-Spirit, Known To God In Entirety

I am the God-spirit, known to God in entirety.
In the God-house, I dwell within a divine bone-frame,
descended from heaven into this world by God's decree.
Often, I kneel in awe, pondering why I left
my celestial home in the evergreen garden.

Drawn near the forbidden tree,
enticed by its juicy fruit,
my mouth watered with hunger, God-given.
I partook of the forbidden fruit,
and God was displeased with my disobedience.
I exercised my free will,
yet its unspiritual effect humbled me.

I repented for my transgression,
bowing before God in contrition.
Entering into covenant,
I resolved to live in peace,
obeying His commands,
rejecting Satan as master.

Now I rest beneath His blessed tree,
as the God-spirit, attuned to divine music.
I breathe God's word,
inhaling and exhaling only His name,
singing His glory to the heavens.

Enveloped in music's depth,
I am convinced—I am the God-spirit.
