in truth blood letting was an art during the middle ages using cups to relieve the pressure, and leeches were used for medicinal purposes, the ancient greeks went to see tragic plays by the masters who induced catharsis which is a purging of the soul and body, but i suggest that good music is a better cure the simple cry for empathy and company is heard in your poem 10
