The world does not end
when one goes away
12.5 BILLIONS were not here yesterday
many are born every day
today we are
tomorrow we can't say
life has its own flow
it is a River of No Return
and
now all know
But all always did also
yet kept their eyes
blindfolded
O lord is eyeing us
from that distance
awaiting me
Perhaps now it's my turn
just wait and see
Every time I read this poem I see something new to like about it :)
This in fact is the right attitude especially for those who are rather old, to walk with Death hand in hand, to wait on the platform with the baggage of deeds duly packed, and ready for the train to arrive. Beautifully said so, dear poet.
I...AM...NOT...INDISPENSABLE The world does not end when one goes away 12.5 BILLIONS were not here yesterday many are born every day today we are tomorrow we can't say life has its own flow it is a River of No Return and now all know But all always did also yet kept their eyes blindfolded O lord is eyeing us from that distance awaiting me perhaps now it's my turn' Grief too has a time limit Then we resume breakfast and THANKS GIVING

This comment will remain incomplete, because PH did not take it fully, and I hate to write it again.
But two things: one,12.5 billions, has the world population reached so high? Not yet, or you have something else in mind? Two, 'Life is a river of no return... Yes, during a lifetime it is true, but we have to return to life to carry on with the journey till we reach the crest of evolution.
