very good poem... asks questions that need to be asked... and you're right, who are we to judge?
This is a great poem. It question of what would you do for basic survival of you and family. And we should not judge, but instead try understand how one reaches that point and if we can fix it. Theirs no denying what you say for one of best friends was all but a prostitute. She did for a home. A guy was a meal ticket to her. I never gave up on her even when others did. The travesty is that some people just don't know how forgive.
Sad but true. Many people look down on other who are destitute, yet they would cheat on taxes and some other way, refuse to help even when they can. You wrote it the way it should be told.
