a very good poem your 1st at PoemHunter, Iqra. Thanks for sharing and.. keep posting
Too bitter, but must be welcomed, as it's truth. I don't believe it's first poem of Iqra, may be her first poem submitted at PH but the perfect style of discussing and describing the bitter truths shows that she is a polished poetess. I rate it as a wonderful poem.
thank you for reading and analysing sir: -) Its your highness if you consider me polished and yes its not my first poem: -)
Here is a woman who is trying to discover her true self from the myriad of shades n colors she has. Self-introspection is a great way of finding who we are and can lead us to self-discovery- -the true purpose of our existence. The picture portrayed here of the dilemma of a woman who is perceived n judged by the society is very soul-stirring n a lot of women can relate to it. A great start to your poetic journey. Keep it up. Best of luck.
Insightful and revealing portrayal of human nature which consists of good and bad shades. Many are the layers, on a single soul laid.. Stuck in the dilemma, my senses all foggy, Jekyll and mr. Hyde both visible at once, Will my fingers detangle from the whirls of my soul ever?
