I Am Lost Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

I am lost in the quagmire
Of lies and hates and shaking faith
It is certain if you do not help me
I have no alternative but to choose death

I am lost in the sea of sadness
Like a leaf in the running stream
No one is there to pick me up and
I don't know against the flow how to swim

My heart bleeds all the time
My mind is heavy with much fear
Through fog of sorrow and pain
The path to a happy life is not at all clear

Only you can save me
Can take me to the sandy shore
Else I have to go down and down
In choking darkness I will survive no more
