Rating: 5.0

Anger burns the fabric of my heart reducing it to dusty blackened ashes
yet, for now, I control it...
No-one sees my acrimony,
all they see is compliant me.

(4) ...Well, the wife of a singer is not always present, the great thing about this I don't know. I told this because I read this very impressive poem. The reader sees it happening in this poem, really devastating. The poet has an excellent metaphor for people who are introvert types. Impressively beautiful! If I like a poem, my comment has become an essay (many words) . Thank you for this opportunity. Have I said? This magnificent beautiful poem: 10

What a fascinating read your comments were Sylvia! and how close to home your words have brought the devastation that can be caused by such an explosion of power! . Sometimes hidden deep within us is a volcano waiting, through frustration, to erupt and destroy all about us and I thank you so much for your appreciation of my work, I am humbled. xx

(3) ...But I have not heard nor read from this current Krakatoa that there is a child again. How many dead it brought with it, is intensely tragic. At that time of the eruption, a famous Indonesian group was playing. The lead singer has lost his dear wife there. The singer and his group did not perish. Perhaps his wife had stayed home. Please see (4) Thank you

(2) Such a devastating eruption for the area, some have said: the ashes stretched from Sunda Street to Jakarta. The streets covered with ash. I quote here words from my grandmother who has heard it again from her mother who has really experienced it. This Krakatoa in this poem is the child of it. After the outbreak of mother Krakatoa, everyone who lived in the area knew that there was already a baby Krakatoa! Please read (3) Thank you.

WOW! This is very impressing, a true good reading piece, a fascinating poem. What I have read here is the out bursting of the volcano Krakatoa (Krakatau in the Dutch) . Enjoyed very much reading it. Personified. Loveliest worded is this laden and layered poem. This poem deserves a WOW and MORE! The final line is a true fact.A person who is not appreciated according to what she/he is, can be bursting out like this exploding mountain.10
