Very original handling of this topic. I got through 2 stanzas before I realized what you were really writing about. I like it when an author makes me think deeper than just the surface words. The last stanza tore me up- -man-shaped garbage made me want to weep in protest. 10++++++++++++++ and onto my fav list
Thanks very much for giving your time. I am glad you liked the poem and gratitude for positive review.
Death is a deep sleep when one forgets all about love, war or peace. Then he no more needs the ordinary things of life which once he enjoyed and was excited about. No one can rouse him from that sleep! With that sleep he enters a world from where there is no coming back! Here death is presented not as a frightful thing, but as a welcome state!
You are right. It is totally a different world. Thanks for reading and wonderful comment.
You have depicted the truth about the permanent sleep! ....When I go to sleep/Don't offer me flowers/Or your best dishes/Or sing a sweet song/You must not weep......I find each of your poems carrying rich expression emanating from your poetic soul! Loved reading this beautiful piece of poetry!
My regards Sir. Thanks very much for inspiring comment.
