As human beings we must wish for other to remain in peace. Dear Savita madam, you have so nicely inscribed this poem. Let me quote some lines here... I prefer to take first option I am at peace and Wish for others to live in peace. Beautiful poem shared.
Thank you so much for your comment. Appreciate your reading the poem.
I prefer to take first option I am at peace and Wish for others to live in peace................a nice wish with an universal appeal.
I am an old lady I feel like a leaf falling in the autumn air Don't invite me for dinner your birthday party your wedding anniversary or Diwali celebrations I need calm, quiet moments for reflection My memories are now like faded pictures I regret nothing, I cuss no one I am at peace and wish you all peace and happiness. Now time for my meditation and om haray haray haray haray om om haray haray. Amen
Thank you so much for reading and posting your poem. I share in your thoughts.
I greatly appreciate your lofty sentiments Savita! I too feel almost the same! Yet, not ready to leave this world too soon as I have many more responsibilities to complete! But it is not our choice! However, those who are ready to love and bless the posterity, knowing well that we have to vacate space for them can die in peace! Almost the same sentiments, I have expressed in my poem... An Old man's Prayer! Really enjoyed reading this beautiful poem!
Thank you so much Valsa for your pleasing comment. My moments of peace are as fragile as soap bubbles blown in air! Floating high in air these moments can’t withstand the crushing winds of reality. Still peace is a dream I try to keep alive if only in thoughts and on paper! Thanks for letting me know about your poem. Would love to read it.
