I am a soul
This I know
Contained in a body I am not alone

In this journey of life
We try to hid
The wrong from the right

I am a soul
This I know
As small point of light

In this understanding of life
We become attached to many things
Holding our souls back from our universal goal

I am a soul
This I know
Living in the cycle of life and light

In this path I don't know where I will go
As others tell me of places they have never been
I just remember my karma is my own

I am a soul
In this life time and through the next
I will always know
