I Am A Selfless Self Poem by Prabir Gayen

I Am A Selfless Self

I Am a Selfless Self

I am a lame man,
One foot in the grave,
Another is on the surface,
I walk like a plodding beeves.

I am a man with no head,
Hollow and empty like the sky,
My skull is made of empty shell,
Without motivation it blinks.

I am a man with no mind,
The mind has gone beyond mind,
All the wishes that nourish it
are withered,
I am a river with no banks.

I am a being having no being,
I felt the the glory of no self,
I am a self experiencing no self,
I am a self with selfless piety.
