I Am A Kashmiri, I Too Am A Human Being Comments

Rating: 5.0

I am a Kashmiri, I, too, am a human being,
Day and night I hear the shrieks of mothers,
Moaning and mourning over their slain children,
Shouldering the coffins of near and dear,

2) " nobody cares to listen my woeful cries, ". Nobody cares. Everyone looks for his/her short term gains. And this violence, this continued war against humanity is their "BUSINESS ", as you termed it dear poet.

A very painful writing. While we read this poem and type these words, the violence continues. Whoever kills and whoever is killed, his /her name is ‘son' /‘daughter', as famous Malayalam Poet Sugathakumari wrote. And everyone who has lost his /her life, has left a bereaved family.

Congratulations on your poem being chosen as Member Poem of the Day. I'd like to call your attention to one spelling error. In the twelfth line, the word " raising" should be changed to " razing."

CONGRATULATIONS, dear Mohammad. A 10 Full Score for this amazing poetry. I add this ToMyPoemList. Such a sweetest and cutest photograph. For your info: My bro does not like the cold climate in The Netherlands, he preferred to stay in Indonesia, like my parents, but I love this cool cute country, a cozy climate to read many books and do my job as a lecturer as well as preparing the students for the next study. I am a post graduate in Lit

You are an excellent poet who creates magnificent poems, but WHY so saddest and full melancholy? As a citizen of your country you are not wrong, they are wrong, those dirty hands of the giovernment cause war, killings, insultings and the more deeds in such lowest layer. Very impressive poem, I have much enjoyed and you ARE a best poet, a human being. A greatest honour this Member Poem Of The Day, you so well deserved.

Because I reside now in The Netherlands and my sons were born here, they are Dutch and my bro remains in Indonesia, so he is Indonesian and under President Engineer JOKOWI's very smart and intelligent, Indonesia is just Indonesia and each citizen who lives there is an INDONESIAN, but not a Javanese, Sundanese, Balinese and so fort.. Each citizen is proud to be an INDONESIAN. So sad wasting time to wars, murder slaughte, killings.in your poem.

You created here a fascinating and impressing poem, you were born in such a most beautiful KASHMIR, I know too well the famous Kashmere Wool. My fathger used to wear all Cashmere suits, but your country has so many governmental cruelties against the citizens, when will all these stop? So much melancholy in your amazing poem. How very sad and tragic is this situation surrounding you. My bro is Indonesian, and PEACE is there now

What surprised me the most is The Title of your poem. My grandparents said they were Chinese, and my parents told me that we are Indonesians from Chinese Refugees, but we lived for centuries in Indonesia being BORN there. All inhabitants have the BHINNEKA TUNGGAL IKA as their life jacket, that means All Religions, pillars and race are ONE for All Indonesians, they respect and love each other as respected persons.

I am Dutch based upon Indonesian-Chinese Origin, I wanna say here that Ir. JOKOWI, present honoured President from Indonesia has an Islamic belief, but he calls himself as INDONESIAN (at least 3000 kinds of Islands up there, but every Indonesian citizen is called since he has become President his teachings are based as I AM INDONESIAN and not I am Javanese, Sundanese or the else. As a citizen we must keep UNITY.

(3) You expect everyone 'to deliver me from pain? '. Let me take up another statement.... 'But! nobody cares to listen my woeful cries'..The Kashmiri Pundits, who were forced to flee from their native land years ago, share the same feelings. Create conditions for their peaceful return to their homes in Kashmir. Unless you do it, you can't possibly attain lasting peace. Thanks.

..(2) But, I am of the view that the general public, by and large, is peace loving and is entitled to all fundamental rights including freedom of speech and movement as well as right of information just like any other state or UT of India. Rest assured, Kashmir has been and will always remain a paradise.

'I Am A Kashmiri, I Too Am A Human Being'.... Yes, you are and nobody can deny you the right to be treated as a human being. A bunch of people who who have been involved in terrorist or secessionist activities have been and should be dealt with iron hand. There is no mercy for them.
