I am a hostage in my own country
No ransom can enrich my democracy
Cause liberty is a birth right non-negotiable
Yet freedom is never free without being governed by conspiracies of fear
So once again
History repeats itself
The countless unnamed are persecuted for attempting to cure an injustice system
And to NO surprise
The forms of Malcom's wings are clipped
The norms of Martin's voice are trimmed
The warmth of tongogara's flames are dimmed
while storms of racism inflict bitter memories of how Mandela was a foreigner in Africa
cause of the characteristics that defined the impregnation of his skin
And Still
I'm an immigrant in my own country
fleeing and seeking asylum for the complexions of my opinions
History never learns
No knot can twist enough lies to suppress the aspirations of freedom of expressions
No change can be kept in chains
No prisons are big enough to cage revolutionary rage
No graves are deep enough to conceal the skeletons and spirits of evolution
History never learns
The oppressed are defining history at this very moment
The oppressed are outlining the legacies that will be celebrated by generations to come

I would like to translate this poem

The poem seeks all kinds of freedom for every citizen irrespective of his caste, colour or origin. It has a revolutionary touch. A powerful trealise. Thanks. And Still I'm an immigrant in my own country fleeing and seeking asylum for the complexions of my opinions.
