There bloomed a flower near my heart; bees danced in wild delight.
I sat away and watched; let's see how long they bite.
They swarmed and buzzed in madness, sipping nectar every while;
I stayed alone in silence, stockpiling nectar with a smile.
Their lips met lips, their breaths entwined, lost in sensual hue,
They drank the sugar of that bloom, unknowing what I knew.
Let them sip the moment's juice, flying reckless all the way;
But I'll be the one to bottle the gold and give it out someday.
They kissed her once, they talked of love, with pride they made their claim;
But I, I sipped the same sweet drop, now I deal it by a hundred names.
