When I read this poem, I was struck by how true to my own situation it is. Though it seems you had your love at one point, while I am the confidant for a guy, I like but am helping to reach my friend. I’m a sucker, I know. Anyways, I really enjoyed this poem, and it hurt to read it.

I think it's wonderful that you can express your feelings openly. I've only read; 'I am' the. May i suggest that you leave out the 20 repetitions and list your lines in the same order.
