Hypocrite Poem by Eryn Stone

Hypocrite

Rating: 4.8

You say I'm fat,
Yet your stomach is so big you can't see your feet.

You say I'm nasty,
Yet you go weeks without taking a shower.

You say I'm messy,
Yet you can't see your bedroom floor from the piles of dirty clothes.

You say I'm lazy,
Yet you won't get out and get a job.

You say I'll never make it through life,
Yet you don't know what the future holds.

You're a hypocrite,
You say bad things about people.

You're a hypocrite,
You do the same things as them.

You need help,
And so do we,
Just stop pointing out what you see.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is not my best. I wrote this one when I was angry at my step-dad. He's the biggest hypocrite I know. Literally! He's so fat he looks like he's pregnant.

Pointing out what you see always is not good or favourable. This is an amazing poem shared here.10
