A tad lengthy, but still perfect in these times with its underlying message
A stream went voiceless by, still deadened more By reason of his fallen divinity Spreading a shade: the Naiad 'mid her reeds Press'd her cold finger closer to her lips. The great Keats and his wonderful poem.. tony
With stunning flight of imagery and superb style of expression, John Keats has composed this master piece.
" O aching time! O moments big as years! " Let the truth shine in its pwn way. An excellent poem is very brilliantly penned.
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful long poem written by the legend of poetry
'As hot as death's in chill'! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
A long descriptive poem of John Keats is a delight to read. But his poems like Ode to Nightingale and Ode to Grecian Urn are immortal poems of this great romantic poet! True to his own words -" A thing of beauty is a joy forever" this poem too one such one to read and enjoy sure!
One of my favourite poems of all those I've read, long and it took me a long time to read (I just started reading Fall of Hyperion: A dream, which unfortunately isn't yet on this website) Its long and its worth it, part of the inspiring work of John Keats, along with this I recommend To Autumn/Ode to Autumn, Fall of Hyperion, Lamia and Ode to Psyche.
You've got to tip your hat to John Keats. Simply ravishing prose.
