Hymn To The Ascendant Sun Poem by Mohammad Muzzammil

Hymn To The Ascendant Sun

Awake! O golden charioteer of skies,
Whose flames unbind the winter's icy chain!
Thy glowing touch bids slumbering earth to rise,
And whispers hope through frost-kissed fields again.

O spirit bright, that dances on the breeze,
And crowns the heavens with cerulean light,
Thy warmth commands the rivers, hills, and trees,
To yield their bounty from the hush of night.

Upon the plains, the kites like seraphs soar,
Unfurling joy with every fleeting string;
And laughter leaps from every rustic door,
As life revives beneath thy gilded wing.

No creed nor temple bounds thy radiant grace,
Thou art the voice of dawn, the world's refrain;
In every heart, thy warmth has found its place,
A herald of renewal's gentle reign.

O sun, ascend! And let thy arc divine
Proclaim the endless cycles nature weaves;
Through thee, all hearts in grateful chorus twine,
To sow their dreams among the ripened sheaves.
