Hut Of Thatch Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Hut Of Thatch

Rating: 5.0

Hut of thatch

Match made in heaven hit a bad patch
Wanted massage he could only scratch
She wanted diamonds
He gave her almonds
Wanted castle got a hut of thatch

Hut of thatch

His heart of hearts full of pure love
Unrequited deep ache for her to come
To live with him and be his forever
Over and over they spoke fought never
Future husband promised future wife
That he would love her rest of his life
He had a good job cars and money
And she a beautiful lady a real honey
The time came for marriage vows
Change dealt them a hard blow now
He lost all, wife left him in a hut of thatch

Expectations are real cause of many unwanted worries. Less the expectations more the joy but alas we humans are bundles of greed. A thoughtful poem.10
