All civilizations, culture, creed are giving us nothing except trash. We only confine ourselves into it. We should break all the barriers of the society because it stops us to help others when they are in a fix. Brotherhood is our culture, Our humanity is our civilization, love and peace are our creed.

Do not wallow in self pity or wonder where life went wrong do not waste your time on yesterday, today you must be strong life is for the living, we can't turn back the clock to dwell on our misgivings is like a tick without a tock

What a wonderfull piece of write, and I have felt this way about life/death all my life, my own personal point of view, we are here for the middle, and our savior knows from birth when our death will be and how.... Very good work! ! Bonnie

Well expressed - the gap between life and death is all we have. We have to make the best of it. No matter what happens time moves on relentlessly. You have a way of picking up the things which are indeed worthy of being written about. Take care...

Wow.... it is amazing that there is so little time to do what you need to do.....100 years is not a long time.... you can close your eyes for only a second when you are 10 and wake up and be 65..... time is a valuable thing.... we should learn not to waist it 'cause once it is gone, there is no turning back very good poem ----*over and out, the devilz work is done*-------------

Some might call it bad timing, but I say, better late than never. But it's not for me to quibble about any particular distinction that an individual calculates relative being to have with any great deliberation. I simply come away from this writing with the inevitable message of: 'BE HERE NOW'. One of the more compelling points to the writing in this poem is that - each of us who have paid witness to this litany of infinite regrets and pleasures of a lifetime suggests that either we've intervened immediately or became just another complacent spectator to the heartfelt attempts to communicate in an altogether more life-affirming passion.

very interesting, i love how you paint a picture of different era's and civilizations, while showing that nothing is permanent. This is the best of your work that i've read.

yes, 'hurry up it's time' definitely reminds one of eliot... but the theme of the poem has close parallels to 'To His Coy Mistress' and esp the lines- 'But at my back I always hear/ Time's winged chariot hurrying near; '... abha, i like the execution of the themes of transience, life and time... nice write, Asma.

How bizarre that I should step into this poem which had a similar message to my 'Death is Life' poem. I love what you've done here, a great message delivered direct to the reader's subconscious mind. I like the line, where birth and death are already decided but the middle part is up to us - most poignant write. HG: -) xx

sign in and sign off...it is His discretion...the trash and the worthwhile, both have no idea if they are to be saved, copied, communicated or deleted...or to be edited in His subsequent sign in. for we human beings, the best would be to understand the life in between as we see it...take it as it is... reciprocating happiness. aabha pursues always serious issues and comes out with good meesages...like this. good poem

If we are conscious of this great truth of life, we will be doing quite a lot of good things for the society!

it is a very very thought-provoking poem, the poet is in a philosophical mood brooding over the time which is eloquent, slippery fast, sluggish, and many a time crawls rather than brisk-walking, so many moods of time, the title reminds me 'hurry up plz its time, , , , , , , , ' from the lines of Eliot, ,

A classical theme rendered with classical panache indeed. Well done. Rgds, Ivan

Your ethereal message of destiny is well expressed...That in-between is all we have in proving ourselves both prepared, and worthy for the '''After''. Time is of insignificance, if we incarnately buy into the circle of Eternity... Our time here, is of cross-bearing, and making a positive difference in others via our taking full advantage of every virtuous gift bestowed upon us. Once again, you leave me plethorically impressed, with your pen & thought-center...Excellent Work, Abha! Keep that Pen Pumpin', young lady! ~ FjR ~ ..2008..
