I have never had to live through a hurricane, thank goodness! This really could apply to any of them. Well done!

I have been reading about the latest hurricane blowing in the South-North Carolina- and elsewhere. Also on TV. But your poem is not about facts and figures, but human distress. Very moving to me. I could be one of those people.

We have to face many calamities each year, among this Hurricane is one of them. You have so touchingly delineated about it in this poem through question tag. I cited one...What about: /Patients in critical care - too sick or injured / To be moved? Beautiful poem. Thank you dear Beuning sir.

You're right. This could apply to any hurricane, with any name, any year! Dorian really caused some devastation in the Bahamas...
