Very intriguing style.... the use of parentheses echoed the scales of a fish and the opening and closing of a fish' mouth.... also tracks the birth of a poem from thought to thought to birth and publication. . Like a hungry fish dreaming) images are my krill) I swallow them all) - - - - - - - - - - - - you've got poetic power! ! ! ! I won't be forgetting that line for years and years and years! You are one fresh new talent on the world scene of PoemHunter. Give that imagination its head- -I don't think it will ever fail you. Exciting, captivating piece. Thousands of 10's and I am putting this on my fav list

On shore another scrimmage will commence for space and a clear path forward. Some fish stay in the water and become monsters of the deep, to be hauled out of their element by someone who has no idea what kind of dreamflesh has been caught in his seine.

Thanks for commenting and reading Denis. Your perspective is always very insightful and philosophical. 'Another scrimmage will commence for space and a clear path forward' takes the poem to its next adventure. You should put those words in one of your poem! Thanks again.
