Hung Like A Horse Poem by Belle Wassermeister

Hung Like A Horse

Rating: 5.0

I remember when I was a kid
and I overheard one of my
grandma's widow friends

telling Grandma that her
husband had been
hung like a horse

and how shocked I was
to hear her say that
because I had no idea

that horses were capable
of committing offenses
that would merit hanging!

This poem reminds of a book I read long ago called " Big Sigh." It dealt with the downside of your poem's title from a man's perspective like fainting every time a woman really excites you!

As a cowboy, once I saw the title I could not resist reading this, and then I laughed so hard I fell out of my saddle! To my favorites!
