Hummingbird Poem by Thomas Plotz

Hummingbird

I saw something I haven't seen
At least not around here

A green hummingbird -

Hovered and stared,5 seconds or so
In my window, so near

Seemed to be saying hello,

Not just that however, looked as if to be inquisitive and curious
As they were looking at me,

As to be eavesdropping on my actions,
In a meddlesome manner,

Maybe just a simple gander
A glimpsing glaze break in there day

Before returning toward the blazing sun
Look for more sweet-nectar fun

Anyway green hummingbird -

Thank you for flying my way, and
Have a grand day
