Being pervaded by your word
And acquainted with your truth
My vulnerabilities daily unveiled
My crass unworthiness revealed
My self-importance duly crushed
And my self-confidence devastated
I stand crouched in my humiliation
And gingerly clutch humbly to you
Head bowed and hands trembling
I hold-on to the truth of your word
That I may work humbly before you
My Lord, my God, and my King
