Humanity Cries
They want to take us from light to darkness,
with shadows creeping through our days,
Innocents trapped in their cunning game,
while we watch hope slowly fade away
while they seek to rule with iron fists,
hellbound in a quest for power,
yet those in chains feel so helpless,
suffocated by each passing hour.
Oh devil within, do you not see?
your grasp is tight, but life is brief,
one day you too will leave this world,
with nothing left, just shadows of grief,
from depths of struggle, we emerged to light,
our spirits strong, our hearts aglow,
do not drag us back to the dark of night,
we will rise again, and together we'll grow.

Humanity is at its low. Who cares with selfish/ oneupmanship attitute?
The endless fight between good and evil, the mighty and the weak is beautifully depicted. Goodness will rise and shine. An optimistic poem with a message of hope!
A heartfelt plea yet it is not heard by the deaf ears. God will deal with those tyrants
