Human In Free Will Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

Human In Free Will

Rating: 5.0

I have never been to prayers
Nor will I ever will
And when I am returned to the earth
My ashes will rise and roam free

I have never bowed
Never shivered
In front of gods or kings
And whatever the perils or pains
I have faith in me only

Those who say
I have sinned
To them I say
Let your gods be your king

Let priests and follies
Decide for you
What is right?
And what to do

I will be human
Mere mortals alone
And gods or priests
Will judge me not
In my castle of free will

I will not cry or clinch
To fake gods
No more
No heavens wait for me
Nor do hell
I am whatever I am
Human in free will

No more
Bonds will bind me
No more
Chains will shackle
For godless you might call me
But free as the wind
Will my soul roam free
