wow! the heart performs so many activities! your ability to describe beautifully-is astounding!

Sometimes it is hard and resistant as a rock but human heart is very lovable and loving palpable essence this beholds. This heart is a wondrous magic casket holding love and hate. But love empowers heart to beat contentiously. Exploring beauty of humanity is duty of nice heart. An outstanding poem is well penned. Revisiting this I feel very happy.

WOW Valsa! This poem is absolutely wonderful!

A wonderful paen to the heart, Valsa, and written with both the traditional view of the heart as the source of feelings and the scientific view of it as a source of blood circulation. You have found an impressive number of metaphors/similes for the heart - gambler's horse, a sponge, a hidden lake, a cave - so many analogies for this king of the organs. Ironically, just above the box which contains your HEART POEM is an advertisement for Heart Surgery. I have been discussing modern spirituality with Marie Shine recently. This poem strikes me as a good example of a spiritual poem, a prayer really, which shows gratitude and appreciation for the good things which bless us daily.

Even within the mother's sequestered womb To its ‘lub dub' music we are so well attuned Being fragile with delicate muscles and tissues It is incarcerated in the fortress of the sternum and ribs...I loved the lub dub music which you wrote... Such a detailed finding on heart both anatomically and behavioral that I am amazed with it. Had i been having this poem 50 years back I would been scoring 10/10 in my school exam! ! ! Ha Ha. Jokes apart, it's a lovely poem to realize the magnanimity of our heart. Thanks for sharing
