I know ten thousand women called Jane and Mary Jane, but I've not seen any two who really were the same. The insights of Maya.. tony

in this world the humans are the wisest and crown creation. All over the world the humans are found but no one is same, no culture is same, no belief is same, no thought is same, no language is same, no feelings of happiness and sorrow is same; though someone thinks that they are happy or sad; but if we the peoples of the world live together, work together, enjoy together then this world will be a peaceful family; But it is never supposed to happen

Now in 2020 the world is becoming inhumane. More war and Political parties not respecting each other. A beautiful poem that expresses kindness.

I find myself recalling a recording of Maya Angelou herself reading this poem in her warm voice. And what a good message! In a time when many experiment with verse to the point of being weird and obtuse, Angelou dares to write poems that speak accessibly and memorably to our human condition. Hers is a poetry of sound as well as sight. -GK

We seek success in Finland, are born and die in Maine. In minor ways we differ, in major we're the same. The great vision of the human family, this is the vision of God. tony

As I read this I recall Angelou’s warm voice reciting it. This poem is so simple and accessible a young child can understand it. Yet the message is one all of us, at any age, should hold in our hearts. -GK

greatly written- I know ten thousand women called Jane and Mary Jane, but I've not seen any two who really were the same. Mirror twins are different although their features jibe, these are reflection of worlds dweller here, there and everywhere- We are more alike, my friends, than we are unalike. really a fabulous writer was she
