However Or Whoever I Am You Still Call Me Your Son Poem by ELVIS LIME

However Or Whoever I Am You Still Call Me Your Son

I could cry in agony and anguish
For no reason, keeping you in a dilemma
Wondering whether I am sick, hungry, hot, cold or even wet but what I only wanted is to have you by my side all the time, anywhere, everywhere and whatever the case
Keeping all the things clean as it should be,
Warmth at it's best and a net all over my bed just to prevent me from getting sick
Gradually I grew , so strong and energetic I became,
running all over the house and everywhere I passed was either a break, a crush or even a mess, bring everything to a stand still but your voice whose composure and mannerism brought about an aura of power in the house taming my energy and all of a sudden I could be quiet as a graveyard
At my teenage you made me sit by your side turning pages of the bible one after another , teaching me the right way of life
You watched me grow correcting me at any slight notification of a mistake; respect, hardwork, discipline and honesty were the virtues and that's why I am who I am today
What I promise is never will I ever disown or disrespect you and whoever shall ever cross your path I will always take revenge though you will always advise to forgive and that's why I call you mother
In other words in the simplest words possible all am saying is thank you so much for you are one in everybody who I will always look upon.
For however or whoever I am you still call me my son
