How Would You Go? (Urge Of A Sinking Lover) Poem by Arun Maji

How Would You Go? (Urge Of A Sinking Lover)

Rating: 5.0

Our that first kiss lasted too long. Too long to end.
You drank me to your soul, I drank you to my heart.
We reached heaven. And we stayed there since then.

But now you want a break. Break! Break from what?
From my soul? From my heart?
From what?

Have it baby "have it".
Who stops you? Who stops you having it?
Have it to your gut, have it to your heart.
If heaven is so ugly for us, then let's live in hell of pain.
If love is so intolerable for us, then let's embrace fiery hatred.
If kiss is so bitter for us, then let's have frosty bite of agony.

How I tell you
your kiss is so little, but pain of not having your kiss so unending?
How I tell you
your touch is so appetising, but not having your warmth so tormenting?
How I tell you
your presence is so addicting, but not seeing your shadow so crucifying?

Why you want to throw me, to dungeon despair and death?
Why you want to punish me, with gloom grief and guilt?
Have my fire burnt you so bad?
Have my love filled you so full?
Have my teeth wounded you so grave?
Have my hatred hurt you so deep?

But, I am not done yet.
Neither with your love, nor with your hatred.
Neither with your kiss, nor with your cruelty.
Neither with your moan, nor with your melody.
Neither with your quiver, nor with your whisper.

I want to have you now. Right now and always.
I want to see you shiver, and explode within me with shriek and laughter.

While I am dying,
I want to keep my lips on yours,
and keep savouring your sweetness while I still cross river of death.
And there in heaven or hell or whatever,
I want to wake up on your breasts, while my lips still drinking your sweetness.

You go, and I would sleep alone tonight,
even without my own heart, own soul, own life.
My dead body will sleep alone, all alone,
as chill wind enters my room and freeze me to a fossil of your memory.

O baby, o my love,
if I don't let you go, how would you go?
