How Would They See Us? (Our Divine Overlords) Poem by james watkin

How Would They See Us? (Our Divine Overlords)

Rating: 5.0

As animals to be sniffed at
As coarse beasts fit to slay;
For to wallow in, befouled
Their own moral decay?

Or as persons proper classed;
Men, women worthy named;
Who clean of heart as of hands
Have their natures tamed?
