the shadows hiss around my soul
but welcome me and take control
of healing my wounds and mending my heart
so now the sorrow wont tear me part
they tend to my heart ache and kill off my fears
the comfort my pain and wash away my tears
the shadows once pained me but now show me bliss
and know i understand everything I've missed
My mind was so closed but now its been freed
and now the darkness as made me see
the truth that lies in front of my face
and now i can see the open space
to find the time to open my mind
and show me how much i really was blind
i closed of emotion and turned from you
but they pushed me forwards and look what you do
I thought they were cruel and would shackle my will
but slowly I've noticed that now they will kill
the pain that still lingers deep in my frame
and now i see the beauty that always remained
in front of my eyes but i couldn't see clear
so I'll open my mind and now i can hear
the wonderful song that darkness dose call
so open your arms and catch me if i fall
so mend me together and don't let me break
cause i know i cant take one more heart ache
so stitch up my soul and bandage my pride
and tell me you'll always stay by my side
I'll kiss the shadows fare from me
cause now you and i can finally see
How much we care and want to be
cause i need you so much and I'll give you the key
to unlock emotion and let my self go
cause now I'm aware i already know
how much i love you and now i can say
that i miss you a bit more each day
so unlock your heart and come follow your thought
on what you are feeling and what you have caught
so look at the flawless texture inside
cause now i know its you I'll confide
to see the darkness that's opened up time
