It happens with most of us

An age old question deciphering what is real and what is not effects us on all levels and I think more so today. The computer era has intensified so many fake situations from people not being who they really are, photo shopped situations, products that don't exist to outright theft of identity. Hmm..on a smaller level I have been fooled by artificial plants many times, almost buying one that was so exquisitely made.
You have placed the seriousness of the problem in the right perspective. It has aggravated with technological advancement over the years. Thank you so much, Simone, for your important inputs on the subject.
A powerful poem that penetrates the psyche and pushes one to punder on a profound perspective of a priceless question. Well done my friend!
This is one of the most important questions to answer for ordinary people in everyday life. There are many dishonest swindlers around and how can you tell them, and not lose money to them? You range over forgery, counterfeit money, imitation products that are all out there. In some cases there could be humour in forgers, counterfeiters-their only redeeming feature.
The kind of appraisal you have made shows your genuine interest and microscopic view point on the poem under reference. Thank you, Michael.
I like VM it, a lesson of truth. It reminds me of what one psycologist said on Italian television many years ago: Itìs hard to understand why people watching a fake flower say How nice, it seems true, and this is normal. And watching a real flower say It's so beautiful that it seems fake, and this is less normal, because nothing beats the real. The real flower is life, the other only fake
Great poem. Telling fake from real is a big problem but getting rid of fake is even more bigger. Thank you for sharing this wonderful write.
he who will hurt another is always the fake he who hurts nothing is the real deal wonderful poem! One that inspires thought in my mind is a blessing thanks

Some are very good actor and some are expert in the at of deceiving yet the last laugh is of the truth, It is like the saying which I heard from my mother some 40 years back Kab tak chupegi kairi (unripe Mango) patton ke aad mein ek din woh pak kar aayegi khule bazar mein A mango can remain hidden till it is unripe one day it will come to the market when it is ripe..... Wonderful poem Rajnishji....10++
Thanks for your wonderful comments. I am specially grateful to you for recalling the old saying which you heard from your mother decades ago. This is all very inspiring.
In a world of make believe, it is so hard to to distinguish the artificial from the natural or the fake from the original, be it flowers, currency, gold or what so ever they be. More complex it is to distinguish between men whose motives are spurious or genuine! You have beautifully brought out this issue with apt examples!
It's a pleasure having received a thoughtful appraisal and kind words of appreciation about this poem (How To Tell Fake From Genuine?) . Thank you so much, Valsa ji.
